In a near-future world, Otone and Kensuke, a couple navigating the depths of grief after losing their son, embrace a humanoid that mirrors their late child, demonstrating the power of love and connection.
Filmed on 35mm by the talented Japanese cinematographer Ryûto Kondô, this marks a third collaboration with Kore-eda, following "Shoplifters" (2018) and "Monster" (2023).
