The Brutalist follows Hungarian-Jewish architect László Toth (Adrien Brody) as he flees post-war Europe for America, determined to reunite with his wife Erzsébet (Felicity Jones) and rebuild his career. Landing in Pennsylvania, László’s brilliance catches the eye of industrialist Harrison Lee Van Buren (Guy Pearce), who offers him a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to create a monumental project.
